THE PROCESS
Creating art is much like designing a house - every angle and perspective must be considered for the piece to come together in one cohesive picture. Each picture begins with an idea that takes shape. That shape is slowly morphed and refined over and over again, as material is added and subtracted. Through repeated layers and adjustments, the image evolves. Those layers stack into a story, becoming a moment of history etched into paper for eternity.
CHARCOAL
Charcoal is the core language of the work. It allows for depth, texture, and subtle transitions between light and shadow. Each piece is built through a deliberate process of adding and removing material, refining form through layers of marks and erasure. The medium’s permanence and vulnerability create drawings that feel both controlled and alive.
PAPER
Every original and print is created on museum-quality, archival paper sourced from Europe and selected for longevity and surface integrity. These papers are designed to preserve detail, tonal range, and structure over time. The result is artwork intended to endure—made to be collected, preserved, and passed forward.
CAMERA
Images are captured using professional imaging tools from trusted brands such as Sony, Sigma, and DJI. These tools are chosen for their ability to capture fine detail, accurate tone, and true depth. The goal is faithful preservation—ensuring each piece is represented with the same precision and care used in its creation.
